Looking for a fun paint and sip event near Oshawa?
Join us for a fun and relaxing guided paint-along evening with our artist, Vera, at Montana’s in Oshawa!
This welcoming painting workshop is perfect for adults looking to unwind, get creative, and enjoy a fun night out with friends, family, or a date. Mature teens who enjoy art are also welcome to join.
During this 2-hour step-by-step painting class, Vera will guide you through creating a beautiful painting from start to finish. Whether you’ve never picked up a paintbrush or you’ve painted before, no experience is necessary. Our classes are designed for complete beginners as well as experienced painters.
Your ticket includes everything you need:
Just bring yourself and wear clothing you don’t mind getting a little paint on.
While you paint, you’re welcome to enjoy Montana’s delicious food and drinks, available for purchase throughout the evening.
Whether you call it a paint and sip, a paint night, a paint-along, or a guided painting class, it’s a fantastic way to spend an evening. Our events are perfect for date nights, friends’ outings, family get-togethers, birthdays, or simply trying something new while getting creative.
Although this painting class is designed primarily for adults, mature teens are welcome to attend if you feel they’ll be comfortable following the step-by-step instruction and participating in a class lasting approximately 2 hours. We recommend this event for teens who enjoy art and are able to work independently alongside the rest of the group.
To help keep the experience enjoyable for everyone, all teens under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult. This is not a drop-off event, and we do not provide supervision.
We can’t wait to paint with you!
Curious what our events are like? We’d love to have you follow along on Instagram @toronto.painting.parties, where you’ll find photos and videos from past classes, upcoming events, and plenty of creative inspiration!

Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. Pasqua Lake Sunset is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Vera breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Vera is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Montana’s BBQ & Bar | Oshawa, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Vera is a real local artist based in Oshawa — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. 10 out of 12 guests who've painted with Vera say the instruction was amazing. . said: 'Fantastic way to end a day, especially my friends birthday 🥰 will do this again! Instructor was fantastic, funny, energetic and super welcoming fun experience all around'
Montana’s BBQ & Bar | Oshawa is a local venue in Oshawa — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class. 71% of guests who've attended events at Montana’s BBQ & Bar | Oshawa rated the atmosphere highly.

Pasqua Lake Sunset is a summer painting — bright, warm tones that match the season perfectly.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in Oshawa, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Pasqua Lake Sunset includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Vera. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Montana’s BBQ & Bar | Oshawa — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Montana’s BBQ & Bar | Oshawa's doors open at 11:00 AM, the event starts at 7:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 6:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Vera starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
This event has reached our minimum attendance threshold and is guaranteed to run. If we ever have to cancel a guaranteed event, every ticket holder receives a full automatic refund plus a free ticket to a future Paint Nite — no questions asked. The only exception is weather or force majeure, where full refunds are issued but free tickets are not.
