A room full of coworkers, a historic venue on Yonge Street, and a painting that looks like it belongs in a dream — that's the setup for Saturday night. I'm Rachel, and I'll be leading the group through Frozen Forest II, a soft, moody piece in blues and pinks and purples with bare trees disappearing into white. It sounds like it could be tricky, but I'll meet you where you are, and by the end of the night you'll have something genuinely worth hanging up. Mossop's Social House inside Hotel Victoria brings a little old-Toronto energy to the whole thing — over a century of history in the walls, good drinks in hand, and strangers turning into a room full of people laughing over their trees.
Hotel Victoria has stood the test of time on Yonge Street (more than 110 years, to be exact). The Hotel Victoria evokes the soul of Toronto: vibrant, welcoming and modern, with a sense of lived-in history. We’ve got the kind of stunning architectural appeal you’d only find in an original 1900s hotel—and we show it off across every inch of our 56 beautiful rooms and gorgeous shared spaces. We know you’re here to have fun, and with buzzing spaces for dining and gathering, newly revamped rooms and friendly service, we’re here to help make that happen. Think of us as your springboard to adventure—and a welcome retreat at the end of a long, unforgettable day.

Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. Frozen Forest II is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Rachel breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Rachel is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Mossop's Social House, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Yes — Frozen Forest II is a Paint Nite favourite for girls nights in Toronto . Everyone paints their own canvas, so there's always something to laugh about at the end. If you're planning a bachelorette party or a larger group, private events of 10+ get reserved seating and a custom experience.
Rachel is a real local artist based in Toronto — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. 7 out of 9 guests who've painted with Rachel say the instruction was amazing. Twitchell M. said: 'I had such a great experience at Paint Nite! Rachel made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming from the start. The step-by-step guidance was super clear, and even as someone who doesn’t paint...'
Mossop's Social House is a local venue in Toronto — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class. 55% of guests who've attended events at Mossop's Social House rated the atmosphere highly.
Yes — we have 48 upcoming events in Toronto this month. You can view them here.
Frozen Forest II is a winter painting — cozy seasonal vibes for a great night out.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in Toronto , you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Frozen Forest II includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Rachel. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Mossop's Social House — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Mossop's Social House's event starts at 7:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 6:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Rachel starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
