Join us for a fun and entertaining time of planting, digging and drinking. Our garden design instructor will guide you step-by-step through the project in about 1.5 hours. Come learn about succulent care! This helpful information will prepare you to properly care for your new succulent garden or terrarium. If you’re feeling creative, change the design as you go. Come have a drink with friends and get creative! Take home a this amazing succulent garden or terrarium you can proudly display in your home or office.
We provide all the planting supplies; a solid container, soil, plants, rocks, decorative elements, smock and a great selection of succulents.
This event begins promptly at the scheduled time above.** If you would like to sit with friends or have a large party, please arrive early to reserve your seats. All seating is first come, first serve. Due to limited space, only Plant Nite attendees can sit in the designated event space. If you are interested in eating dinner, please arrive an hour early and let them know you are attending the Plant Nite Event. Food and Drinks will be served during the event.
*Please note, this garden party is only for adults age 21 and older and this is NOT a BYOB event--ALL food and drink must be purchased at the restaurant. NO food or drink is included with your ticket price. WE STONGLY ENCOURAGE OUR GUESTS TO EAT AND DRINK AT THIS FANTASTIC VENUE. Food and Drinks will be served during the event.

My name is Megan Rhoden and I am a SUCCA for Succulents! If you come to one of my planting events expect to have a ton of fun, relax and learn about how to care for your plants properly so when you get home they will survive! You will be proud to display your new garden at home and I am there to help you make it perfect! Lots of fun, goodies and beautiful plants every time! I am also very excited to help you all make beautiful candles! Come to one of my candle events sometime!! I love getting to know my customers as well. I can talk forever! While I am not planting with you guys I love to work on my art! I have a degree in Computer Animation and my dream is to one day work for Disney, Nickelodeon, or Cartoon Network. I have two beautiful cats and an awesome husband. We are avid board gamers and enjoy socializing with friends and meeting new people. I look forward to meeting you at one of my events!

Yes. Amethyst in Rose Bowl is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Megan breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Plant Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
Megan is a real local artist based in Pasadena — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. In Pasadena, 5 out of 8 Paint Nite guests rated their instructor as amazing.
Slater's 50/50 Pasadena is a local venue in Pasadena — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Plant Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.

Your ticket to Amethyst in Rose Bowl includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Megan. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Slater's 50/50 Pasadena — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Slater's 50/50 Pasadena's event starts at 7:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 6:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Megan starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Plant Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Plant Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
