During this two-hour session, you'll bring to life a beautiful abstract art piece that captures the Japanese art of Kinusaiga. Quilting without thread! Each participant will receive an 8x8 foam "canvas" and access to a wide array of fabrics and tools necessary to create your own unique piece. It encouraged though, that if you have any fabric (clothing or blankets or something you want to cut up) that are personal to you, bring them along and we can incorporate them into your piece! Your ticket to Kinusaiga Art includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Brooke. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Smokin BBQ — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Smokin BBQ's doors open at 3:00 PM, the event starts at 7:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 6:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Brooke starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Fabrics/Knitting event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Fabrics/Knitting cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
