The kind of place where the food alone would make the night worth it — that's Casa Mexico in Kanata, a family-run restaurant that Marco and Sylvia built from their roots in Acapulco. We're painting inside that, which already puts this one in a different category. I'm London, and I'll be guiding everyone through Pink Moonlight Dreams — a moody, beautiful landscape with a glowing moon, stars, and mountains that's way more approachable than it looks. You don't need to have picked up a brush before; I'll meet you where you are and we'll build it up together. The whole night just works — great food, great company, and a painting you actually want to bring home.
The Casa Mexico experience of traditional Mexican cuisine in a family-run restaurant comes to Kanata! Coming from Acupulco, México to Canada in 2013, Marco and Sylvia dedicated their restaurant to their roots and culture - sharing with the public what traditional Mexican food is like. The new venue in Kanata has always been a priority to share with the community not only Mexican food, but Casa Mexico's fun family-friendly environment. Feel like you are in Mexico, here, with our family!

Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. Pink Moonlight Dreams is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — London breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. London is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Casa Mexico (Kanata), a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Yes — Pink Moonlight Dreams is a Paint Nite favourite for girls nights in Kanata. Everyone paints their own canvas, so there's always something to laugh about at the end. If you're planning a bachelorette party or a larger group, private events of 10+ get reserved seating and a custom experience.
London is a real local artist based in Kanata — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. In Kanata, 16 out of 19 Paint Nite guests rated their instructor as amazing. Christine R. said: 'London was awesome! They lead well and encouraged each participant. My friends and are planning to go as a group soon!'
Casa Mexico (Kanata) is a local venue in Kanata — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class. 72% of guests who've attended events at Casa Mexico (Kanata) rated the atmosphere highly.
Yes — we have 4 upcoming events in Kanata this month. You can view them here.
Pink Moonlight Dreams is a spring painting — a fresh seasonal pick that captures the energy of the season.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in Kanata, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Pink Moonlight Dreams includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from London. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Casa Mexico (Kanata) — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Casa Mexico (Kanata)'s doors open at 12:00 PM, the event starts at 6:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 5:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before London starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
