Come join us for a night of creativity at Sports On Tap in Saskatoon with artist Melanie Beaudoin! Get ready to unleash your inner artist as Melanie guides you step by step in creating your unique version of the Fall River Run painting.
No experience is necessary, just come ready to have a great time with friends and maybe even make some new ones. All materials and supplies will be provided, and you’ll leave with a unique work of art, a newfound sense of accomplishment, and plenty of memories to share. Our events are designed to be fun, non-competitive, and stress-free. You'll be amazed at what you can create with a little guidance and encouragement!
TIMELINE – Events start on time and last 2 - 3 hours, depending on the complexity of the painting, unless otherwise posted.
SEATING – First come, first served policy for seating. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to order drinks and get a good seat.
ACCESSIBILITY – There is wheelchair access at Sports On Tap, with ramps into the building, and the bathrooms and event room are all on the main floor, with plenty of space for everyone.
KIDS – Legal drinking age only at Sports On Tap, however, check out some of our events at other locations.
FOOD/DRINKS – Order anything on the menu. Not included in ticket price.

Melanie enjoys encouraging people in their pursuit of creativity. Her training is in graphic design. She began painting outdoors in oils after moving to Saskatoon and also dabbles in watercolours. Fall River Run is one of our more detailed paintings, which is exactly what makes it so satisfying to finish. Melanie paces it carefully so nobody gets left behind — and Melanie will help you turn any mistake into something intentional. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Melanie is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Sports On Tap, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.

Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in Saskatoon, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Fall River Run includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Melanie. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Sports On Tap — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Sports On Tap's event starts at 6:30 PM. We suggest showing up by 6:00 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Melanie starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
This event has reached our minimum attendance threshold and is guaranteed to run. If we ever have to cancel a guaranteed event, every ticket holder receives a full automatic refund plus a free ticket to a future Paint Nite — no questions asked. The only exception is weather or force majeure, where full refunds are issued but free tickets are not.
