Paint Nite San Francisco is an awesome night out where you can
sip on drinks and create your own masterpiece in a fun and
relaxed setting. It's the perfect blend of creativity,
socializing, and a guaranteed unforgettable night!
You can find us in different locations, including local
restaurants and bars, with a far more electric atmosphere than a
studio! By having our events in venues like these, we’re also
supporting local businesses and giving you more delicious food
and drink options.

If this is your first time at one of our paint and sip parties,
we’re thrilled to have you! Our hosts are so much fun, and the
events are focused on having a good time—not becoming the
Picasso.
We’ll meet in a San Francisco hotspot, where we’ll have our own
area with a server, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy your
time with your friends without getting up or missing a beat.
Your host will provide you with all your supplies and take you
step-by-step through your chosen painting. This is far from
serious, so feel free to chat, laugh and ask questions.
You don't need any painting skills—a professional artist will guide you through the entire painting process. Just come with your sense of humor and readiness to try something new.
The majority of our classes go for around $35 per ticket. Although, this decision is down to the host and may vary depending on the cost of supplies.
Your ticket includes all painting supplies, such as your canvas, paint, brush selection, palette and apron.
The event usually lasts around two hours, but it can vary depending on the painting's complexity. It's the perfect amount of time to unwind and connect with your creative side.
PaintNite.com is the original paint night. Our founder, Dan
Hermann, was the first to take the sip and paint party out of
the studio and into a local venue.
Why does this matter? By working with restaurants and bars, we
are bringing new customers to existing businesses rather than
opening a competing location.
We’re also not a franchise. Our artists have no out-of-pocket
costs and get an opportunity to create something of their
own—they can even pick their own name.

Guest counts depend on the size of your chosen space, but we’re
open to any group size. The more, the merrier!
Most Paint Nite creations use acrylic paint, but you may occasionally see an event that uses watercolor paints. However, this is very rare.
These events have several names, many we’ve already shared. Most commonly, you’ll see them described as paint and sip parties, sip and paint, paint nights, paint parties or event wine and paint parties.
It’s important to us that our artists are paid fairly, which your ticket cost ensures. That said, if you feel inclined to leave a tip, your host will certainly appreciate it.
Of course, the more, the merrier! Just be sure to book your tickets in advance to ensure availability, and get ready to have an unforgettable night with your friends or colleagues!
