About This Event

About October Raven

In just about two hours, while you’re sipping on a glass of Guiness or Irish Whiskey*, Brian Mark Hahn will guide you through the painting Bird in the Scottish Thistles, step-by-step. At the end of the night, take home your own unique masterpiece--you will be amazed with what you can do!

We use non-toxic acrylic paint and provide 16” x 20” canvases at all of our events. We provide everything you will need for use at the event: canvas, paints, brushes and even an apron! You just bring your fun-loving friends and have a few adult drinks! And delicious Irish food too!!

Events last approximately two hours, at the end of which you get to take home your new masterpiece. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to start time, especially if you have a large group. This will secure seating with your friends and allow you to order your drink & food before the event begins.

*No food or drink is included with your ticket price, and must be purchased at the restaurant.  Please note: This is NOT A BYOB event.

FAQ

Paint Nite — Everything You Need to Know

Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.

Yes — October Raven is one of our most approachable paintings. Absolute first-timers finish this one looking great. Brian walks you through every step, and the whole group moves together so nobody falls behind. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.

A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Brian is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at The Pint Pot Public House, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.

Brian is a real local artist based in Eugene — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. 6 out of 7 guests who've painted with Brian say the instruction was amazing. . said: 'Had a wonderful time. Would recommend to my friends and family'

The Pint Pot Public House is a local venue in Eugene — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.

Yes — we have 3 upcoming events in Eugene this month. You can view them here.

October Raven is a fall painting — rich autumn colors that capture the season beautifully.

Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in Eugene, you're in the right place. Welcome back.

Your ticket to October Raven includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Brian. Drinks and food are ordered separately from The Pint Pot Public House — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.

The Pint Pot Public House's doors open at 11:00 AM, the event starts at 6:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 5:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Brian starts the painting.

You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.

This event has reached our minimum attendance threshold and is guaranteed to run. If we ever have to cancel a guaranteed event, every ticket holder receives a full automatic refund plus a free ticket to a future Paint Nite — no questions asked. The only exception is weather or force majeure, where full refunds are issued but free tickets are not.
