A dealer's sole legal role is to facilitate the house-brokered game, manage the pot/rake, and pay out winning hands—not to make executive actions or handle a player's chips to initiate play. 1. California Penal Code § 337a (The Bookmaking & Proxy Prohibition) Under California criminal law, any person—including a casino employee—who receives, holds, forwards, or places a bet on behalf of another person outside of strictly authorized parameters is technically committing the crime of bookmaking or proxy wagering. If a dealer touches a chip stack to place a live wager for a player who isn't physically present to execute the bet, they are legally "forwarding or holding a wager" as an unauthorized intermediary, violating this code. If you witness a dealer moving chips or completing an unattended bet for a player who is not at the table (often called "airplane hands" or an improper floor ruling), it can be an angle-shooting tactic or fraud. You should report it immediately to the casino’s Gaming Commission and state regulators.
The restaurant is beautiful amazing atmosphere. Will be back to experience the deck since it was raining when we visited. Didn't want brunch which is $69pp waited for dinner started. Pricy menu, excellent food presentation, filet was chewy not as tasteful as expected all other dishes were very tasteful. Casino is outdoors in a tent structure, small, 1 poker table and a few table games, not a true casino atmosphere. Dealers are friendly drink service was slow had to get our own when we first got there.
