This is our family place, our son loves the bread bar and cozy booths, the food is pure comfort food with fine dining wrapped in a low key cosy spot filled with warmth. The menu changes up with the seasons, it quaint cute and family friendly. Every time we come here Jordan is our waiter he’s pleasant, inquisitive and very on point. A gem.
Food was really good – no complaints there. But the service? Way too pushy. We were still sipping our coffee when the server dropped off the bill unasked, then came back just minutes later with the debit machine and stood right next to me, waiting. For a business lunch, that felt incredibly rushed and awkward. Great kitchen, but front-of-house needs to learn how to read a table.
We went there with the family for a supper. The restaurant was far from full on a monday night. We got a nice table far from anyone else. Great service from the waitress. There was unfortunately no more snails as an appetizer and no more chicken for main courses. I had to pick something else for both. There was only one cook working that night so we had to wait at least 45 minutes to finally have our meal. Food was good and hopefully we had the bread bar meanwhile.
