Always the best experience here, the team treats us so well, the ambiance and especially food is so great!! Thanks to Brenda for the recommendations. We had the Honey Bear pizza, garlic ginger wings & the farmhouse trio with broccolini topped w bread crumbs, charred snap peas with Greek yogurt w cilantro chimi churri (my favorite 😋) & the house salad. Thanks again to the team, this is why we keep coming back.
Walk in,order and pay, then go sit down at table and wait for food. Once food arrives you're no longer a concern to them. No stopping by to see if you want anything else, nothing. I arrived and ordered a pizza and a beer, w tip it was 28 dollars. The pizza " Honey Bear " was served about 20 minutes after I sat down. Decent flavor, more sweet than spicy, chewy crust. I was planning to have a group of friends meet me here, but after 45 minutes of sitting here looking at one of the tiny tvs on the wall and no interaction from the staff, I messaged my friends to meet up elsewhere. I had high hopes for this place, but it seems this place missed the mark heavily. There was a party of 6 in front of me at a table and 2 other tables w 8 ppl, so its not like I got here during a rush. They were already eating when I sat down.
Pitfire, you were sadly a disaster. From the moment we stepped foot in the door, we had the feeling we would be disappointed. This was our first time visiting a Pitfire Pizza and given it's longevity in the pizza business, we assumed it would be good. We're asses, apparently. Upon entering the front door we were greeted by the screams of a family with children, seated at the largest, most echoey corner of the restaurant. The sound of their cries, reverberating though the restaurant. We looked to the patio with hope- only to find a very unkempt space. There was trash, old food, leaves galore and spider webs- this patio had not be cleaned in a very LONG time. (See photo from another guest from THREE YEARS AGO- SAME SHIT.) The first thing to arrive at our table was a shared bottle of water and glasses. The third glass we poured had food floating in it. We got another bottle of water and glasses- the second bottle was also dirty inside. Finally, they brought us a clean pitcher which comically a bug flew into on its way out, which they also replaced. Next was the Caeser salad. Half of the leaves were yellow- but it still tasted ok. Just didn't feel like the best quality. After the salad came our pizzas and wow, maybe the worst vegan pizza we've ever had. The "cheese" was certainly made in house- it was not the delicious looking, gooey melted masterpiece we were expecting. It was globs of a salty "cheesy" mess that had a texture similar to cornmeal. The vegan sausage was even more off putting. Our second pie was the vegan margherita, which was far superior- but had the same cheese. Had it been a cheese-less pizza, it could have been considered "good". The hot honey was a pleasant surprise. I'm not sure why restaurants go out of the way to make fake cheese. Leave it to the masters who already exist. Sprinkle it on like mozzarella and send it out. Upon leaving I was informed that the dirty bench I had sat on was now all over my pants- confirming, we will NEVER be back. EVER.
