Beer was 10/10. I got a flight and all four were amazing. I tried the sour, the pilsner, the lager, the cider, and the porter. I was really impressed with their dark beer. Normally dark beer tastes metallic to me but theirs tasted smooth. I highly recommend their beer. Their pizza was a miss. It was over $30 and burnt on the outside, cheese wasn’t melted all the way and some of the crust was still doughy even though it was black. The flavor was ok but after reading the reviews about the pizza I was disappointed. Maybe ours was an outlier because the other reviews seemed great but ours did not hit the spot.

We have hosted multiple events at Rouge River Brewing Company and the team there is so accommodating and always ensures we have a great time.
Although the inside of the location is no longer dog-friendly the patio still is and we definitely see our community members and team members enjoying a cold beer on summer days!
This venue has multiple events through the week that you can checkout: line dancing, karaoke, performances, as well as networking mixers (to name a few) so there's something for everyone to enjoy.
The owners are also so connected with the community and support hundreds of local businesses. This is one of those places you can feel good about going - the atmosphere is fun, it's inclusive, and every dollar you spend there you know the owners are doing good things with it.
Really support and will not gate keep this local must-visit brewery. 💜

I live very close to Rouge River Brewing Company and have driven past it countless times over the last few years. I’ve always wanted to try it out, so my son and I finally stopped in today. Unfortunately, it was a massive disappointment.
Here is how our visit went:
* **The Atmosphere:** The restaurant was dead quiet. There were literally only four other people in the entire place sitting and having a drink, so they were not rushed or slammed by any means.
* **The Lack of Greeting:** When my son and I walked in, the only staff member in sight was the bartender. He looked right at us, but **completely failed to greet us** or welcome us in.
* **The Service (or Lack Thereof):** We had to ask if we could just sit anywhere. He gave a half-hearted, indifferent nod. We sat down and found a drink menu on the table, but we were actually there mainly to eat.
* **The Breaking Point:** We sat there going through the drink menu, waiting for someone—anyone—to come over, welcome us, or offer us a food menu. Nothing. The entire time we were there, we felt completely invisible, like absolutely nobody cared that a customer had walked through the door.
After sitting there feeling completely ignored, we decided we had enough. We got up and walked right out. It's a shame because we really wanted to support a local spot close to home, but we won't be coming back. If you want to feel welcomed or even acknowledged, go somewhere else.
