Swirl Cafe & Games aims to provide a one-stop shop for anything Pokemon related, a Pokemon dream land!
At our physical location in West Edmonton, we host in-person play, tournaments and leagues, and offer customized ice cream, milkshakes, espresso based drinks, and various light food items.
We have a boardgame library available for customers on a pay-what-you-can basis, and the proceeds are donated to a rotation selection of organizations in need.

This review is not meant to be taken badly just thought id mention it. I want to start by saying the staff is great and very nice. What happened was a mistake on both ends I went today and browsed, looked on their website and saw they had paradox Clash tins for $54.99, I asked if they had them still, the staff pointed to 2 distinct tins, I picked one and when I went to pay it rang up as $74, which i thought was weird but chalked it up to them not updating their website. It was only when I opened the tin did I discover the packs were completely different to what I was expecting. I was expecting 2 twilight masquerade, 2 obsidian flames, and 1 temporal forces. Instead I got 2 surging sparks, 2 journey together, and 1 destined rivals. I was accidentally sold a paradox destinies tin instead, which i know was an honest mistake. I have already broken the seal and therefore my chance at a refund but if the store is willing to do anything that would be wonderful.
If you have little ones who love Pokemon they are very kind and accommodating. The chicken bites are delicious. The service was wonderful. We will come again for sure. The scavenger hunt for kids is a must!
Swirl Cafe is an absolute gem of Edmonton. The atmosphere is fantastic, plenty of decorations and Pokémon memorabilia everywhere that make the space fun and inviting. It’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind, whether you’re grabbing a latte or a cold drink. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the people. Brandon and Justin are some of the coolest guys around. Brandon is always willing to help, educate, and share his knowledge, and the entire staff is amazing. (I can only remember about seven names and don’t want to leave anyone out!) I recommend Swirl Cafe to everyone—and I already do. I’m actually on my way there right now for more product. You guys rock!

None. Your artist walks the whole room through the painting stroke by stroke over about two hours, and everyone leaves with a finished canvas. Most guests have never painted before.
There's free parking at or near Swirl Cafe & Games.
Yes — the bar stays open while you paint. Food and drinks are ordered from and paid to the venue, and aren't part of your seat price.
Doors open 30 minutes before the painting starts. Come early, grab your seat and order a drink — the artist starts on time.
Yes — Swirl Cafe & Games has a wheelchair-accessible entrance and restrooms. If you have specific seating needs, contact the venue ahead of the event and they'll set you up.
