My friends and I planned a Retirement party for about 32 people. We were looking for a private area and staff that could accommodate separate bills (it became too much trying to sort out menus and platters, although they had an excellent selection that would meet a variety of needs). The manager Sami was prompt, helpful and accommodating to allow us early entry to decorate. Service staff were on fire! Everyone was happy with food and there was ample ability to have drinks. Thank you to everyone who helped us send our very good friend off with a wonderful venue and lots of love!
This is a picture of their poutine before even one fry was eaten. Works out to about $1/fry! Frozen crinkle fries, mozzarella (NOT curds), and terrible gravy. This was a crime against poutine! The parking is terrible, the service was terrible, the menus are strangely confusing. And then all of the food we (there was 6 of us) had was terrible. Poutine, tacos, salad, wings, …. all were terrible. The beer and food was over priced. The deep fried pickles were okay. The only thing that was good was the spicy mango margaritas. We talked to the “manager” after complaining to the server (that did not seem to have any idea what she was doing). The manager was just this is the way head office tells us to do things. 🤷♀️ So at least now I know it was not just a bad night and I don’t have to waste my time going there ever again.
Me and my family had an amazing time at this location. Melia was an outstanding server! From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. She checked in regularly without being intrusive, made great recommendations, and made sure our drinks and food arrived in a timely manner. Her positive attitude and excellent customer service really made our visit to the Ellerslie Brewhouse memorable. It's rare to come across someone who clearly enjoys what they do and goes the extra mile for their guests. We'll definitely be back, and we hope to have Melia as our server again. Highly recommend!
