Stopped on while visiting the area and was extremely happy with the visit! Walking in and seeing all the sports memorabilia is hard to describe, because there is a lot! It’s like a combination of history and intrigue with your meal. We were seated quickly and met by our server, Raven (hope I remember the name correctly). Amazing is a good word to describe her. She was fun, attentive, and very personable. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a good visit! The food was delicious! My coworker also raved about his meal! We were both very glad to have stopped.
Typical sports pub with lots of TV screens as well as booth and regular seating available. I wanted to try their taco night so came in with my kid. They had lots of tables available so was no wait at all! I also love that they have daily specials and offer a kids menu for just $8.99, which comes with a colouring sheet and crayons, complimentary cucumber and celery basket with ranch dip, choice of main, a drink and dessert. I ordered the chopped chicken taco and 2 birria tacos. I also ordered a draft beer which came in a nicely chilled glass and properly filled. When the tacos arrived I was pleasantly surprised at their size for $3.50 each! The tacos were delicious although the birria was slightly spicy for those sensitive to spice. For the kid I chose a cheese pizza which was much bigger than expected and piping hot and cheesy! The drink also came in a neat plastic cup with lid so can be reused again. I decided to order a ground beef taco while I waited for kiddo to finish eating but after a while I noticed it still hadn't arrived so I asked about it and was told they were making the orders for the 40 top table first. In the end I asked for the bill, and by then the taco was also brought out and they had kindly comped it from the bill due to the wait so I got to take it home along with half of the pizza that my kid couldn't finish. It wasn't until after I paid I realised they'd also forgotten to bring us the kid's dessert so that was a let down. Overall however, great dining experience and service was also great- the guy who took our orders and seated us made sure to come by to check and was as prompt as expected. Looking forward to trying their prime rib night next!
Absolutely top notch! I am a huge Brewhouse fan. But after a number of disappointments with the nachos at our local Brewhouse we ventured into Calgary to try a new location. Well this location knocked it out of the park. Likely the best nachos I have had at any of their locations. Service from Karly was tremendous. Overall great experience well worth the drive. We will definitely be back.
