About Casa Mexico (Kanata)
The Casa Mexico experience of traditional Mexican cuisine in a family-run restaurant comes to Kanata!
Coming from Acupulco, México to Canada in 2013, Marco and Sylvia dedicated their restaurant to their roots and culture - sharing with the public what traditional Mexican food is like. The new venue in Kanata has always been a priority to share with the community not only Mexican food, but Casa Mexico's fun family-friendly environment.

I had a great experience at Casa Mexico in Kanata! It was just me, my girlfriend, and her mom, and although it wasn’t busy, the service was excellent. We had a newer server who was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. I ordered the birria tacos, which I always get whenever I visit a Casa Mexico location, and they were just as delicious as always. My spicy margarita was amazing too, definitely one of the highlights of the meal. My girlfriend and her mom both had the tortilla soup, and they both really enjoyed it. Overall, the food was great, the staff at this location were friendly, and we had a really enjoyable experience. We’ll definitely be back!
A Mexican delight! We went for a late lunch and were not disappointed. The food and margarita were great! The chorizo and potato tacos were our favorite! The server was friendly and attentive on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Menu had lots of intriguing choices for repeat visits. Restaurant was colorful, clean and inviting! We were so full at the end that supper wasn't necessary!
Suggested by a family friend and was not disappointed. Located within a plaza so there’s plenty of parking. Atmosphere is average. It’s nothing fancy BUT it shows they care for the food and how the place looks. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the menu, willing to recommend their favourites. Food itself is fantastic, from the tacos to chilaquiles to the birria and even the horchata, all great flavours and spices. My only gripe is the prices, they are steep but the food speaks for itself. Overall, I would come back and recommend to friends and family.
