Cute hidden pub in Sherwood area. The daily deals are great, went for the kids eat free Sunday. The calamari was delicious but a bit expensive for the portion given. The food was good depending what you get. The place was cold, had goosebumps for the entire dinner. Server is okay, not too attentive to refills of water and pop, but super attentive to alcohol refills. Never came by to check on us. Pricing is a tad high especially on a pint of beer for 8.25.

Keenan's Irish Pub is a local bar. It is one of three locations in a chain started out of Brampton. This spot used to be the Mississauga Pump and Patio.
They have numerous events throughout the week including Wednesday 9pm Karaoke, Thursday 7:45pm? trivia, Friday live music, Saturday 9pm Karaoke. Darts anytime!
The events are not the same across each of the restaurants so call ahead to confirm. The website for this restaurant shows events for the Brampton location.
In regards to food, they have a large selection of traditional pub fare. It does have a fair amount of salt so do keep that in mind. The food itself tasted great. I did return a second time to try the creme brulee as well!
The servers were nice although if the bar gets busy, it can be difficult to flag down a waitress due to the restaurant layout. There is outdoor patio seating available in the spring, summer, and fall.

Oh, Keenan’s… Good location, close to where we live, thus it often makes a good spot for darting, since they have a really cosy upstairs area for it. Modern, yet “Irish-ey” interior and atmosphere. They often have karaoke nights, which adds to the vibe. The servers and bartenders are a delight as well! But… The food is a huge letdown, and it pains me to write it. We ordered a Keenan’s burger and a pound of wings this time. I saw someone else posting a review about getting a pound as well and receiving only 6 wings, and in Keenan’s defense - the wings are massive! A pound does not define the quantity of them, they are quite large, so whoever that was should check their knowledge on mass metric system. However, although the wings were juicy close to the bone, the outside was extremely dried out. It was the sweet chili heat, which was good, but it was lacking sauce. The fries were over salted, and, although, the burger tasted nice and balanced, I got a terrible heartburn from it. Also, what I’ve never experienced before - the carrot pieces had such a hard core fiber, it was unchewable. I’m sorry, the prices for the foods nearly do not match their quality. I do have a sensitive stomach, but $40 for that was nowhere near reasonable.
Giving them barely a 4 (3.5 would be more precise) because of the darts, the servers and the overall ambiance, but, unfortunately, I’ll have to make sure to eat before coming next time.
