If I could rate this six stars I would. Super delicious food and most of it is gluten free or can be made gluten free. The pierogis are super good, I just want to order like 5 of those for dinner. Salads are good as well as the fish and chips, large piece of fresh fish and a nice batter. The chicken wings are crispy and coated which we really liked.
Came here for lunch and all the food was solid with great selection and tastes as expected. Everything was not too salty which is great, and there's salt and pepper on the table to add if you want. Short wait time for food. We ordered poutine, beef dip, bangers and mash, Yorkshire pudding and Viking voyager (cod and squid) burger. The poutine was a little smaller than expected but it was good, the gravy was tasty and the cheese curds were melted. The beef dip was good and hit the spot, the beef was tender. The Yorkshire pudding was a fairly large portion and tasted fine but could have had more meat as it had more potato than meat. The bangers and mash was good with lots of thick gravy. The Viking voyager burger was nice, it tasted herby i think from the foccacia bun which was also very soft and dense. Overall had a satisfying lunch here, definitely not bad and would recommend trying it if you need some food!
We have had some really good meals at The Six Mile over the last few months so it’s about time I left a review. The standout was the vegan Christmas feature which was absolutely delicious (included in the pics). So delicious I came back the next day and had it again! Today I had the vegan 3 course feature menu (also in the pics below) and my husband the regular feature menu. Both were great and good value. The service from Faune was also really good. I really appreciate the good year round vegan options and would love to see more vegan feature menus in the future!
