Overall we loved the Colonial Inn. I’d give it 4.5 stars! It was comfortable, the small breakfast was nice (great muffins and delicious coffee), excellent location, and amazing staff. The rooms are spacious and have a couch that you can sit on too. Super clean as well. No dedicated parking but we never had an issue finding parking on the street out front.
A few cons, the shower pressure for the overhead isn’t great. The walls are on the thinner side and if you’re on the first floor you’ll hear the people walking above you. We found the sheets to be a bit stiff at first but it wasn’t bad.
Overall great experience and we would stay here again.

Abysmal first wedding anniversary stay.
I had made clear when booking my room that this was an anniversary gift for my wife, and that I wanted to gift her the best they had. They had only asked what size bed we wanted, and nothing else. Normally, not a problem. The room they gave us was the smallest they have available and on the first floor.
Again, normally not a problem. But all of their smallest rooms have no refrigerator nor a microwave.
We were offered a 'visit enhancement', which consisted of being asked what drinks, flowers, and treats my wife would like. When arriving to the room, none of those things were what was requested.
The drinks they had brought us were 2 bottles of champagne and 3 assorted juices in *plastic to-go cups*. The glasses that they had just brought us were also horrendously dirty with the lipstick of the previous user.
The floors and walls were so thin that we could hear exactly where in the room the couple above us was, and kept us up quite late with their intimacy.
The bedsheet of the room we were in had a large mystery brown stain that I desperately hope was just coffee.
We encountered a sizable cockroach on the first night (likely due to no fridge to store our food) and when moved to another room, encountered another cockroach on another night.
All of these issues were supposedly brought to the manager, and we have gotten no response thus far.
Would visit the town again, would not stay here for what we paid.

Incredible stay! All I had hoped for and more! My room had 7 windows!!! Beautifully remodeled and retained the gorgeous wooden floors and covered porches. Helpful, friendly staff. Coffee, water and muffins available at all times. Restaurant open Thursday through weekend. Delicious options! Easy street parking. Easy walking to many restaurants. Super comfortable bed and wonderful shower. Hope to return some day!
