Arrived from a delayed flight, starving and hoping for a quick meal. We chose this restaurant based on online pictures of their food, and reviews but the experience was far from what we expected.
The food was a disaster. My French onion soup didn’t taste one. It was cold, saggy, and full of soaked diced bread with no onion flavour. AWFUL that I lost my appetite. The burger was overpriced and half decent. Potatoes were almost burned. My daughter's shell pasta was dry and chewy, and the nachos ($30!) were mostly veggies and bits of meat.
Service was inattentive - food was served without utensils, forcing us to grab them from another table.
The ambience was the highlight, with a nice atmosphere.
Overall, we'd skip this restaurant next time

We recently visited Turtle Jack for the first time, and it was conveniently close to our workplace. The standout dish was undoubtedly the Turtle Wings - they were incredibly delicious with a special seasoning that left us craving for more. However, we were slightly disappointed with the portion size, which included at least three baby wings. Despite this, our server Giselle was very welcoming, and the other dishes were outstanding. We'll definitely be back!!

I've been to the Turtle Jack's in Port Carling, a very large place right by the water with great food, so I thought I'd check out this one by the airport and it did not disappoint.
I came for lunch on a weekday so it was fairly quiet. The decor is very modern and urban, but comfortable and inviting. The bar area looked amazing. My server Romina seated me right away at a comfortable table.
I started with the half-size Caesar salad - crisp, fresh, creamy and delicious with just the right amount of crunchy croutons,
For the main course, I had the chicken parmesan which comes with pasta, and for only an extra $2, toasted bread. It was fantastic: hot, tasty and fresh with two huge portions of breaded chicken with lots of ooey, gooey cheese and a healthy portion of fettuccine noodles in a tasty tomato sauce. Romina was terrific - very friendly and attentive.
I stole some glances at some burger dishes being served and they also looked very generous.
Note there’s parking near the restaurant but you have to go through a gate and get a ticket.The restaurant will then validate your ticket so you get free parking. But when I left, the gate was open, so it didn't even need it - sweet!
This is a great place to go to if you're by the airport and need a good, friendly, hearty and delicious meal.
