How much does a Paint Nite cost in Grand Valley?

Most in-person Grand Valley events include your easel, canvas, paints, brushes, an apron and your artist for the night. Food and drinks are purchased separately at the venue. Virtual and on-demand classes are priced lower since they're location-independent. Check any event below for its exact price.

Where are Paint Nite events held in Grand Valley?

We host inside local bars and restaurants right across Grand Valley and the surrounding Ontario area. See the venues and map below — nearly every spot is easy to reach by transit or has nearby parking.

Do I need to be good at painting?

Not even a little. The whole point is that anyone can do it. Your artist breaks the painting into simple, guided steps and walks the room the entire time. Most first-timers are genuinely surprised by what they take home.

Is Paint Nite a good date night in Grand Valley?

It's one of the most-booked date nights in the city. You get a drink, a relaxed room, something to actually do together, and a keepsake from the evening.

Can I book a private party or corporate event?

Yes. We run private Paint Nites for birthdays, bachelorettes, team socials and corporate events around Grand Valley — at a venue or at your office. You get the whole room, your own artist, and a custom painting option.

How do I book tickets?

Find an event by date, venue or artist on this page, hit "Grab a Seat," and check out online in under a minute. You'll get an email confirmation with the venue address and everything you need to bring (which is basically nothing).

Are there virtual and at-home options?

Yes. Live virtual Paint Nites are streamed by a real artist so you can paint from home with a kit, and on-demand classes let you paint anytime at your own pace. Both are location-independent — perfect for a quieter night in.

How is this different from Yaymaker?

Paint Nite is the original. Same energy, same local artists, same take-home canvas — now under PaintNite.com. If you painted with us under another name in the past, you're in the right place.

Do you host events outside Grand Valley?

Absolutely — we run events across Canada. Scroll to "Nearby cities" to jump to your area.

It was fun, even though we did a Level 4 painting and it was challenging. The instructor was great and so patient, and the final product turned out amazing!

It was amazing with excellent step by step instructions from Erik made the challenge a breeze and gave a peace of mind. Very impressive work

This is such a great social and artistic experience. Janna is amazing and I learned a lot while meeting some fun people.

The lady who presented this event to us was extremely pleasant, friendly and fun! It was a fun painting to do and she offered great assistance and compliments. The only thing I did not expect was a 1/2 hour break! We ate our lunch prior to the painting and so I did not feel like I needed this 1/2 hour break! Maybe 15 minutes would have sufficed for a quick bathroom break and paint touch ups. We had only been painting for 30 minutes when she announced the 1/2 hour break. My suggestion is to have

We really enjoyed this event. Our instructor was great, encouraging and took the time to come around to anyone who wanted some help even though it was a fairly large group. We like having the private space at the Rec Room in Barrie for these fun nights out!

Kay is vibrant, patient and super fun! Her play list of background music created a great vibe! Such a fun afternoon!

Great instructions. Excellent feedback. Very patient lesson.
