Surrounded by the Sonoran Desert, Mesa is a playground for outdoor recreation, with convenient access to three lakes, two rivers, and endless hiking trails. The city is often regarded as an extension of the state capital, Phoenix. It may be considered young in population as well as in history—the average age among its citizens is 37. My partner and I stayed at the Delta by Marriott located on N Centennial Way overnight for a celebratory wedding event. We arrived a few hours early before check-in, and the staff quickly and easily checked us in. It was a standard older hotel. Our room, which faced the pool, was clean and extremely spacious. The bed was nice and comfortable. The fitness center was a great size. The price was very reasonable. The staff made us feel so welcome. Delta Hotel is definitely worth a stay. 👏
Larger than expected, with a beautiful pool area and well-maintained landscaping. Parking was challenging due to tour buses, and the surrounding area felt a bit deserted at night. Breakfast was offered as either a buffet or a la carte. Overall, a pleasant stay.
Bathroom was dirty, pool and hot tub was dirty. Hot tub is broken and we spent 20 mins trying to have our door fixed after taking the elevator 3 times to get someone to help. Only great thing was the guy who repaired our door. Will never stay here again.
