Ate there end of September.
Food: ordered a shared pretzel which was good. Nachos cheese not included. Just FYI. I ordered a hot dog but didn't realize how plain it would be since it was the only thing not beef/pork. No ketchup or mustard FYI. Finally, my husband ordered a soup. Said it was good and hot, but unsure if ordering again. His favorite item was the soda.
Service: not terrible but not the greatest either. Granted there were maybe 2 tables and 2 individuals at the bar and they were about 1 hour before closing.
Atmosphere: was ok. SOME table activities available. Interesting deco.
Overall: would go back if close and wanted a pretzel.

First time visit! Excellent customer service! Plenty of parking and outdoor seating available. Indoor decorations are from different regions of Germany! Impressed by the menŭ choices! Everything tasted very authentic! Big portions! Schnitzel & Paulaner & watching soccer ! It was a happy experience! Highly recommended!

EASE UP ON THE SALT, GUYS - PLEASE !!! Veggies too salty to eat! VERY expensive - $125 for 2 people. I had one glass of apple wine & my husband had a root beer.
CAUTION on the mustards - very vinegary.
My meataholic husband & I were here on Easter. He'd never had German food. They serve LOTS of food, but there was only a couple things we'd ever order again: The jagerschnitzel, the incredible spaetzle (with mushroom gravy); the beef sausage (the red-colored one) AND the pretzel. The Bembel apple wine was really good too (13oz glass, but has been discontinued). The waiters were really nice.
I've never had (or liked) sauerkraut cooked into super softness, but I've never been to Germany. Took it home for our daughter to try. She thought it was mushy. Even the salad was kinda wilted & warm, but that could be from putting the lemon dressing on too soon. The bier-cheese sauce seemed gritty & unimpressive. To me, the main difference in 3 of the sausages was the fat content (all were grilled). There was one that looked like a hot dog. The casing was incredibly thin but held up well. I really liked the casing.
Bembel apple wine is DISCONTINUED. Total Wine told me. Thats what Kathrin's served.
I think Kathrin's restaurant should be DISCONTINUED too.
Some reviews say that they "Lost their good chef" about a year ago (early 2025).
PLEASE, EASE UP ON THE SALT !!
