Katrina Zarate’s artwork explores color and empowerment. Katrina began to paint professionally in 2005 after undergoing a number of successful surgeries to combat vision loss. After experiencing the therapeutic nature of art in her own life, she decided to find ways in which art can be used to help others. Her goal is to create art that not only inspires but encourages the audience to reflect on their own desires, dreams and perceptions.

With experience in painting, fashion and production, Katrina is also the proud designer and owner of Funsie (www.MyFunsie.com) a clothing company that creates onesies for adults.
